Dear colleagues, We are plannig a study involving utilization of dried
blood specimens obtained for PKU screening, for determination of gene
frequency of specific mutations. Obtaining an informed consent under these
circumstances is problematic. Does anyone have experience in such studies
and were similar studies approved by the IRB? Thanks for your help.
