# HUM-MOLGEN subscribers by country

We are delighted to inform you that
HUM-MOLGEN continues to grow at an enormous rate (presently 10-15
additional subscribers a day).

Every country still contributes to the growth. The growth rate of
subscribers from the USA appears to slow down a little bit, while the
growth rate in Europe remains constant. Taken all countries in Europe
together, the number of subscribers from Europe add up to approximately
650-700. The growth rate in Asia and Austrialia is increasing.
A large number of new subscribers come especially from Germany, Japan,
and Australia (for numbers, see below).
The number of different institutions represented on HUM-MOLGEN is in
between 1000-1250.
Clearly, the present developments makes HUM-MOLGEN even more
internationally oriented. The overall growth rate continues to be high.

Along with the growth of HUM-MOLGEN, an increasing number of
individuals, Journals, organisations, institutes and companies are eager
to collaborate with HUM-MOLGEN. Since the network has grown from 0 to
over 1750 subscribers within a year, this is an enormous logistic task for
the editors. New features on HUM-MOLGEN will thus be introduced slowly but
steadily.

To further enhance the possibilities of HUM-MOLGEN, please invite your
colleagues to join us. Obviously, with so many subscribers interested in
genetics and molecular biology connected through a single web, the
digital space is the only limit!
