Description:

PREMIER Biosoft Italia distributes and supports
PREMIER Biosoft software products in Europe.
The products Primer Premier does comprehensive
PCR, sequencing, and hybridization primer design.
It features handling of degenerate primers,
multiplex primers, site directed mutagenesis,
back translations, and restriction enzyme analysis.
It is able to take a protein sequence, reverse translate
it, and find primers in regions of low degeneracy.
A review article describing Primer Premier capabilities
was published in the May-June 1997 issue of
Biotechnology Software and Internet Journal.

Regarding Plasmid Premier, Dr Kiyoshi Arizumi
of University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
writes:
“With Plasmid Premier, I am able to create beautiful
plasmid drawings more easily than other programs
I have tried previously, including MapDraw from
DNAStar. I also like the fact that I can import
sequences from any source. The sequences saved
through Plasmid Premier are in the common text
format; you can access them using many other
applications."
