HHMI researchers have determined that a protein involved in neurofibromatosis type 1, a human nerve disorder, plays an important role in communicating crucial information about the circadian clock. Circadian rhythms, the patterns of activity that occur on a 24-hour cycle, are
important biological regulators in almost all living creatures.
