This is an opportunity to represent a medical device company, the goal of which is to use navigational medical imaging to allow physicians to pinpoint and access target biopsy areas within suspected cancerous growths with far greater precision previously available.
To add to the strength of their sales team, they are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Manager who is passionate about the use of technology to advance medicine and diagnostics.
Preferred location: Home based in Benelux, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Austria, etc.
As European Sales Manager, you will represent the company to new and existing clients in countries such as Benelux, Germany, France, Italy, others. You will use lead generation, cold calling, company's present clients to nurture prospects, and qualify leads. Your primary goal is to introduce company products and services into new accounts, by means of hands-on, on site OR (operating room) demos, as well as to maintain existing customers.
" Contacting potential and existing clients.
" Relationship building /CRM database management.
" Hospital "OR" demonstrations to physicians/radiologists/urologists/ staff.
" Meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
" Enjoying being part of a new team where taking initiative and responsibility is key.
" Reporting to a Sales Director.
" Bachelor or Masters Degree in business, science, or engineering, or equivalent experience.
" 4+ years in sales/business development/marketing.
" Background in medical device related to prostate urological ultrasound medical imaging in Europe.
" Knowledge of the players in the field.
" History of 'demo-ing" medical device equipment in operating suites.
" Strong verbal communication skills.
" Able to work independently and accurately
" Customer oriented
" Languages: German and English.
" Fluency in French, Italian, Dutch, Spanish of great interest.
" Able to drive minivan across Europe for demo purposes.
" Able to manage and move heavy equipment in and out of minivan equipped with lifts, into "OR" suites, etc.
Salary: competitive - base+commission+benefits++
