Hua Tu, Chief Technology Officer, Curia
Hua Tu joined Curia via the LakePharma acquisition in September 2021. As Chief Technology Officer, he is responsible for technology and innovation at Curia.
Hua brings more than 20 years of experience in the biotech industry to Curia. He founded LakePharma, the biologics company, in 2009 and built the business into one of the premium US-based biologics service providers. Before founding LakePharma, he spent 11 years at Amgen working on various drug development programs.
Hua earned a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and a PhD in molecular cell biology from SUNY Stony Brook. He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications.
