This webinar will explore the application of a straight-forward, powerful approach to leadership. The starting premise is that different people and differing situations require different approaches on the part of the leader or supervisor. This prevents the "one size fits all" approach that often results in lack of leadership (laissez-faire) or too heavy-handed an approach (micro-managing). We will start by examining how we have historically looked at leadership and why very little of practical use has emerged from centuries of inquiry. From there we will see how versatile leadership filled an important gap in our understanding and practice.
We will then examine the model and the tools available to the leader. From there we will explore our own preferred leadership approach and understand when it is appropriate and when it is not.
