This conference will be a forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest advances in molecular, cellular, physiological and behavioural research. It will encompass the structure and function of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors as prototype members of the family of ligand-gated ion channels; their roles in brain function and behaviour and their potential as targets for therapeutic drug discovery and pesticide development.
