Emphasis will be placed on areas of greatest current interest and importance, such cell signaling, motility, cell proliferation and death, calcium dynamics, microbial physiology, and development. Sessions will also be devoted to new experimental technologies and software developments.

The format of the meeting will consist of six morning and evening sessions of eight or nine 15-minute talks per session, entirely selected from the abstracts, plus afternoon sessions devoted to posters and new technology & software developments.
