2006 IEEE Symposium on Computational Intelligence in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (CIBCB 2006)

  May 10, 2006

IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, Toronto, Canada
Sept. 28-29, 2006

his symposium will bring together top researchers, practitioners, and students from around the world to discuss the latest advances in the field of computational intelligence and their application to real-world problems in biology. Computational Intelligence includes artificial neural nets, fuzzy logic, evolutionary algorithms, and other related techniques. Topics of interest include but are not limited to: gene expression array analysis, structure prediction and folding, drug design, molecular sequence alignment and analysis, metabolic pathway analysis, medical imaging and pattern recognition, analysis of large biological data sets, and a variety of other topics. The use of computational intelligence should play a substantial role in submitted papers.
