7th International Symposium on Microbial Iron Transport, Storage and Metabolism

  March 24, 2005

Institut Pasteur, Paris
June 1-4, 2005

Iron is essential, but also highly toxic for most cells including bacteria. Thus, iron homeostasy is
critical for bacterial survival and virulence. The scientific program will focus on the molecular mechanisms modulating iron balance such as uptake, storage and metabolism and their consequences on virulence.
