The aims of this multidisciplinary meeting are to provide the state-of-the-art information on cellular and molecular mechanisms of tissue repair and regeneration and the newest emerging therapies. Top international researchers and clinicians will review the roles of inflammation, hypoxia, growth factors, signaling pathways, apoptosis, cell/matrix and cell/cell interactions, progenitor and stem cells in healing of different injured tissues. During the Conference participants will have the opportunity to meet with researchers and physicians who work at the cutting-edge of their fields. These include scientists and clinicians identifying new mechanisms, new therapeutic targets and new technologies. Targeting both research scientists and physicians, the Conference will highlight common mechanisms in tissue repair, novel therapeutic targets, new concepts, new directions and translation of basic science and experimental models to treatment of human diseases.
