  December 03, 2004

The Institute for Genomic Research, Westin Nova Scotian, Halifax, Nova Scotia
04/13/05-04/16/05

The International Conference on Microbial Genomes will take place April 13-16, 2005 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This three- day conference provides academic, government and private sector delegates from around the world with the opportunity to hear prominent scientists discuss cutting edge research in the field of genomics. Attendees may also share their research with their peers at the poster sessions.

Session topics will include metagenomics, population genomics and evolution, funtional genomics, and environmental genomics.

Continuing with the tradition of GENOMES 2004 and other previous microbial conferences, the Institute for Genomic Research presents this event together with Genome Atlantic, whose programs and facilities in Eastern Canada are producing world-class research in the field of microbial genomics.
