  January 13, 2004

Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Cold Spring Harbor, New York
April 21 - 25, 2004

We are pleased to announce a new meeting on Channels, Receptors & Synapses, which will be held at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, New York. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21st, and will conclude with lunch on Sunday, April 25th, 2004. The proposed meeting will assemble the leaders in the field, together with junior faculty, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students, to discuss new, cutting-edge developments in the molecular control of neuronal excitability and synapse function.

The format of the meeting will include morning and evening sessions consisting of short talks, principally on unpublished work. The other submitted abstracts will be presented in two poster sessions in the free afternoons. As usual at Cold Spring Harbor Meetings, all abstracts of both poster and platform sessions will be published in an abstract book given to all the participants.
