On behalf of the International Society of Neuropathology and the Italian Association of Neuropathology we are honoured to invite you to the XVth International Congress of Neuropathology to be held at the Lingotto Center, Turin, Italy, September 14-18 2003

Turin is located in the north western part of Italy, close to France. It is nowadays an industrial city, but it is rich in history and historical monuments. Formerly the capital of the Kingdom of Piedmont, which started the Italian unification in the last century, it has participated in European historical events, first as a Roman city and ever since the eleventh century as the seat of the savoy dynasty. Encircled by the snowy Alps, it lies in a pleasant region celebrated for its food and wines.

Turin is easily reachable by car and is served by two airports: international Malpensa airport and international Caselle airport. The Congress will offer a high level scientific programme, including plenary lectures, symposia, workshops and poster presentations, showcasing modern trends in neuropathology as a basic-scientific, diagnostic and clinically orientated discipline.
