SURGICAL APPLICATIONS OF TISSUE SEALANTS

Cambridge Healthtech Institute , Chicago, Illinois
October 21-22, 2000

As a direct result of the first FDA approval of a commercial fibrin sealant and other tissue sealants in the United States, tissue sealant researchers in both industry and academia have pushed their work forward to bring more of these products to the clinician. This two-day symposium, which will immediately precede the American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress, will include the most up-to-date research in the field of tissue sealants and provide a forum in which surgeons and other clinicians can learn about the many varied and innovative techniques for effective use of these sealants in surgery.
