Nucleic acid amplification and detection have become the foundation for most molecular biological research. Today speed, ease, cost-effectiveness, reproducibility, and reliability are the driving forces determining technological advances. Focus on many of the important advances in this field, including sample preparation, primer and probe design, amplification, and detection, is the basis of CHI’s Eighth Annual Nucleic Acid-Based Technologies: DNA/RNA/PNA Diagnostics. Emphasis during the meeting is on specific applications in a wide variety of biological research. In addition, an entire day is devoted to PNA Technology research applications and diagnostics. Those attending the meeting can expect numerous opportunities to learn about new strategies and techniques that can be readily applied to a wide range of specific uses. |
