Review and Update of Infectious Diseases in Adult Medicine

Continuing Medical Education (CME) - 14th Annual Series of Primary Care: Live presentations, accredited by ACCME (20 Hours Category 1 AMA, AAFP Prescribed, ACOG Cognates, and Category 1 ACEP), with a detailed syllabus. Also, home study courses and audio tapes available. Popular morning sessions allow participants time for study, family activities, and recreation. World famous beaches, tennis, golf, water sports, fishing; Ringling Museum, Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, the Asolo Theater, Opera House, Selby Gardens, and Mote Marine Laboratory/Aquarium; less than two hours drive to Disney World, Sea World and other Florida's attractions.

Day 3: Skin and Soft Tissue Infections. Community Acquired Pneumonia and Other Respiratory Infections. Infections in Pregnancy. Tuberculosis.

Day 4: HIV Infection: Pathogenesis, Antiretroviral Therapy. Management of Infection in the Immunocompromised Host. Meningitis. Approach to the Patient with Fever and Rash.

Day 5: Infectious Diarrhea. Urinary Tract Infections. Bloodstream Infections and Endocarditis. Influenza Update. Bioterrorism - What the Physician in the Community Needs to Know.
