CfPA-The Center for Professional Advancement, 90 Minute Accredited Online Training
December 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. (ET)
Who Should Attend? This online training is intended for engineers, scientists and managers in chemicals and life sciences. Catalytic hydrogenation processes, first discovered in the late 1800’s by Paul Sabatier, are an important reaction that finds wide industrial applications. Today we find catalytic hydrogenation in 10-20% of the reactions to produce chemicals, from commodity chemicals, specialty and fine chemicals, and very broadly in life science for pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, vitamins, flavors and fragrances, cosmetics and other food products. Techniques now used in commodity chemicals have migrated into life sciences as intensification. Professionals in the following areas will benefit greatly from the training: • R&D • Process development • Laboratory experimentalists • Pilot plant design and operation • Scale up and commercial operations Course Description
