Webinar on Selecting the Most Economical and Effective Training Methods and Media

  April 15, 2016

Compliance Trainings, Online
2016-04-29

Description :

Training departments in the corporate setting today are increasingly required to do more with less. In this time of new and innovative but expensive training technology such as eLearning and 3D simulations, training directors often choose glitz and glamour over substance, effectiveness, and cost because they think that it is “better”. This is not necessarily the case. There is an appropriate application for each training approach and media application. The so called “old" training approaches are just as relevant and effective today as they were in the past as long as they are properly applied and utilized.

This workshop is designed to clear the fog and dispel the myths about the many training approaches that are available to us as training professionals. When to use what approach is critical to maintaining a sensible training budget while at the same time delivering training that maximizes the two measures that must be applied to any training program that is developed – efficiency – how fast, and effectiveness – how well.

Areas Covered in the Session :

Hard and soft skills training defined

Cost per trainee – what is it and why is it important

What are the unique needs of each training requirement

What is the best training application for each training situation

eLearning versus PowerPoint - sometimes less is more

When are the most costly approaches justified
