Course Description
This 60 minute webinar presents an overview of a proven methodology used to investigate and identify the root cause(s) when there has been a shift in the performance of a product, machine, equipment, work process or system. The methodology identifies the change that has occurred so that the change can be eliminated and the performance can return to its previous level. It is ideal for investigating an increase in:

  • Product or service defect levels 
  • Customer complaints
  • Manufacturing scrap or rework 
  • Equipment or process aberrations
  • Any performance change where a CAPA investigation is required

Tom Weaver; Founder of Weaver Consulting

Tom Weaver, is the Founder of Weaver Consulting. Prior to establishing the firm he had a 28 year career with Baxter Healthcare holding management positions in the Manufacturing, R&D, and Quality functions. He retired in 2003 as Vice President, Quality Management, leading its Total Quality Management and Six Sigma processes. In that same year he started Weaver Consulting which today provides root cause investigation services to clients globally. He began his involvement with root cause investigations in 1978 and today Weaver Consulting offers the premier investigation methodology available. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY.
