Pathways to Skin Penetration

  July 10, 2015

Center for Professional Innovation & Education, Inc., Los Angeles, CA
October 19 & 20, 2015

This two-day course is tailored for individuals who want to gain a thorough understanding of the detailed structure of the skin and the correlation between structure and penetration.  Participants will be introduced to the biochemistry of the upper layer of the skin, the stratum corneum, and the different theories about its pathways of penetration.

The course will provide detailed tools for understanding the limitations of skin penetration and will suggest possible ways to overcome these barriers.  Additionally, testing models will be discussed which take into consideration issues such as skin age and dermal condition.
