John Carson; Principal, Carson Product Development |
John Carson is the Principal of Carson Product Development, Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in the formulation of personal care products and the creation of new raw materials for personal care products. He has over thirty-five years experience with various personal care product companies such as Colgate Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson, Avon and L’Oreal. Before starting Carson Product Development, Inc. in 1999, he was the Technical Director for Croda, Inc.
Mr. Carson received a Bachelor of Science degree from Stevens Institute of Technology, a Masters of Science degree from Rutgers University and a Masters of Business degree from Monmouth University.
He has been an active member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists since 1970, holding several New York Chapter offices including the office of Chapter Chairman in 1990. Mr. Carson is the author of several articles on the properties of cosmetic raw materials and is listed as an inventor on fourteen US patents with several more in the works.
In addition to instructing for the Center for Professional Advancement, Mr. Carson is an instructor for the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, and in the Graduate School of Natural Sciences at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
