Description: The objective of this course is to bridge the gap between various leadership theories and their application and practice in real world organizations. The course highlights strenghts and weaknesses associated with each leadership theory though case studies and help professionals nurture self-leadership by adopting best leadership practices in their organizations. GIC is a certified Certified Management Consultant (CMC) course provider. This program provides the course required in the steps to obtain a CMC designation. Conditions and regulations about CMC designation can be found on the CMC-Canada website.
Objective: The participant will gain knowledge in leadership theory and how it is is applied to real life situations in the industry. The participant will explore the pros and cons of various leadership models and how they can be applied in the engineering and science corporate world.
Who Should Attend: This 2 day workshop is suitable for excecutives, division managers, technical directors, project managers, middle magnagers, team members, and any professinonals who are responsible for managing teams or individuals in a science and engineering industry.

Evaluate the strenghts and weaknesses of each leadership theory. 3. Explore how leadership theory can direct how leadership is practiced in the industry through real case studies. 4. Analyze self-leadership through various assessment istruments designed according to each leadership theory. 5. Develop self-leadership using best practices such as good communication, negotiation, time management, verbal, and creative writing skills.
