Who Should Attend
This course is intended for anyone responsible for managing projects, participating on project teams, or having a stake in the success of a project, including: Project/Program Managers, Team Leads and Team Members, Engineering and IT Professionals, Business Managers, Project Stakeholders, and others.

The methodologies taught in this course are applicable in any industry, field, and across all levels in an organization.

Description
This three-day Applied Project Management Fundamentals course introduces and applies the fundamentals of project management to the managing of people, process, and projects. You will benefit from learning and then using the principles of setting good objectives, applying a structured project methodology, developing workable project plans, exercising effective leadership, and identifying and leveraging your personal style and that of others. The methods and tools taught are essential to effectively initiate, plan, execute, control and close real-world projects. Not only will you learn the mechanics of project management; you will learn how to employ these methods in your projects.

Invited Speakers: Dr. Tracy Christofero; Project Management Professional and Professor, College of Information Technology and Engineering, Marshall University

Dr. Tracy Christofero is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional and professor in the College of Information Technology and Engineering at Marshall University where she is over the Master of Science in Technology Management degree program.

Dr. Christofero is the owner and president of TChristofero Training and Consulting, Inc. Dr. Christofero has 20+ years project/program management consulting and education administration experience in business, government, higher education, and healthcare environments, specializing in Project Management Office (PMO) and department/division start-ups, and project management consulting and training.

Dr. Christofero earned B.S. in Public Administration and M.S. in Education degrees from Indiana University and a Ph.D. in Information Science from Nova Southeastern University. In addition to her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Dr. Christofero is a Six-Sigma Green Belt (SSGB), a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and a Government Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/G).
