Who Should Attend This training course is designed for engineers responsible for heat exchanger operations within the oil, gas and chemical process industries. The course will benefit individuals in:
• Process engineering • Project engineering • Mechanical engineering • Operations • Inspection • Maintenance Description Shell and tube heat exchangers are widely used throughout the oil, gas and chemical industries and are critical to the operation of many process plants. Few of these plants employ heat exchanger specialists, so the responsibility for the specification, operation, inspection and maintenance of these equipment items often falls upon engineers who lack specific expertise in this field.
The purpose of this 3-day intensive training course is to provide attendees with the essential knowledge and insight to optimise the performance and reliability of process plant heat exchangers. The course focuses on the commonly-used shell and tube heat exchanger type, but also examines the opportunity to use alternative types where advantageous. The emphasis of the course is on addressing practical issues of relevance to operating plants.
