Emerging research on inflammation in general and in the skin in particular links it to premature aging and aging associated diseases such as cancer and xerosis. When the skin is inflamed its barrier function is highly compromised. It is red, swollen, warm and painful. The pharmaceutical and personal care industries are investing in finding better ways to prevent and address skin inflammation and chronic inflammatory disorders with high prevalence such as Atopic Dermatitis, Psoriasis, Acne and Rosacea. The objective this two day course is to identify current knowledge on this topic and point at possible resolution and testing options.
