This 2 Day Training will take place in conjunction with the 8th Annual International Conference on

"Predictive Human Toxicity and ADME Tox Studies "

Training Course Description

Our mission is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the scientific concepts and practical approaches of the evaluation of ADMET drug properties in drug development.  The course will run for two days, and be taught by our three expert instructors.  The lectures will be organized into the following categories.

Role of ADMET in drug development:  Scientific principles of drug absorption, metabolism, drug-drug interactions, and drug toxicity  (Al Li)

In Vitro evaluation of ADMET drug properties:  Bioavailability, metabolic stability, drug-drug interactions, P450 inhibition, P450 induction, drug-transporter interactions, drug toxicity (Al Li)

Bioanalytical chemistry:  Bioanalytical method development and validation; metabolite identification; protein-binding; mass balance evaluation (David Kwok)

Preclinical pharmacokinetic, toxicokinetic, pharmacological toxicology, acute, subchronic, chronic safety studies (Souzan Yanni)

IND and NDA applications (Souzan Yanni)

Phase I, II and III clinical studies (Souzan Yanni)
