This workshop will provide students with the most current understanding of the cognitive aging field by bringing together researchers who apply complementary analytical approaches to and offer diverse biological perspectives on research in neuroscience and aging. Topics will include: the hippocampal formation, the frontal lobe, human neuroimaging techniques, animal models, the molecular cell biology of cognitive aging, emerging interventions and therapies, and the bioethics of cognitive enhancement. and ultrasound imaging. The exceptional faculty will bring the most up-to-date results and theories to the students, making the workshop a valuable resource for young researchers starting out in this fast-moving field. Not only will the workshop help students build foundations for their future research, it will also introduce them to potential collaborators.
