Epigenetics: From Mechanisms to Medicine

  February 14, 2007

O'Reilly Hall, University College Dublin, Dublin, Ireland
25th June 2007 - 26th June 2007

This workshop, open to an Ireland-based and international audience, concentrates on the latest developments worldwide in:
  • study of epigenetic mechanisms;
  • techniques and technologies used;
  • application of knowledge of epigenetic mechanisms in the clinic.
This workshop is designed to encapsulate current basic and clinical research and provide a glimpse of future potential for an audience of bioscientists and physicians with an interest in epigenetics. Using the excellent conference facilities of the O’Reilly Hall on the University College Dublin campus, the Epigenetics: From Mechanisms To Medicines workshop brings together internationally renowned speakers, technology developers, and participants based worldwide to interact in the lecture hall, in techniques sessions, in poster sessions, and during informal gatherings. Outside of the intensive two-day workshop schedule, participants may wish to sample the historical sights and cosmopolitan atmosphere of Dublin or venture further afield around Ireland.
