Genomics, Proteomics and Beyond

  November 28, 2006

University of Oxford, University of Oxford, UK
19 - 22 March 2007

With the explosion of bioinformatics, it is essential for many researchers and managers, among others, to have a thorough understanding of the techniques used in genome analysis.

This course aims to introduce delegates to the methods used in obtaining gene sequences. It then provides a comprehensive overview of the ways used to analyse the data obtained from sequencing projects.

It will introduce comparative genomics and look at the use of Bioinformatics. Finally, it will conclude with an overview of the exploitation of genomics.
