The speaker will guide you through the conventional and new treatments available for patients with heart failure including:
The role of diuretics, ACE inhibitors, beta blockers, ARBs, and digoxin
Cardiac resynchronisation therapy.

0955 - 1045 Cardiac arrhythmias: management in primary care
The speaker will focus on the main issues in the diagnosis and management of common arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation. The session will focus on management pathways developed in line with the national service framework for coronary heart disease. Speaker: Dr Kathryn Griffith
