This course will cover the FDA regulation and the drug development process, along with the special challenges for QA/QC by biopharmaceuticals; cGMPs for biopharmaceutical APIs; developing an overall QA/QC strategy to manage limited resources from pre-IND through market approval and compliance pressures on biopharmaceutical QA/QC today. While the focus is on FDA expectations for QA/QC, global concerns involving both EMEA and ICH, as appropriate, will also be discussed.
