A New Way of Working

Intensive care units are high-risk and high-cost environments in which mistakes and delays can have tragic and wasteful consequences. Conversely, improvements in ICU effectiveness and efficiency can produce immediate and dramatic gains for patients and caregivers.

IHI and VHA have spent the last year developing a dramatically improved model of intensive care designed to radically change the way ICU care is delivered and to achieve remarkably improved performance. Twelve prototype sites have tested these novel ideas and have achieved significant breakthroughs.

Learn how your organization can achieve breakthrough results in improving intensive care at the International Summit on Redesigning Intensive Care. This is your opportunity to hear from experts, share ideas, and connect with people from around the world who face similar challenges.
