Proteins: Workhorses and Wizards of the Cell
  November 13, 2001

Cell and Molecular Biology / Anatomy

CPD Centre, Department for Continuing Education, Rewley House, Wellington Square, Oxford University, Oxford, OX1 2JA
5-6 December 2001

The course aims to elucidate links between protein chemical structure and conformational and functional properties, and to show how patterns are currently emerging that allow us to understand and predict protein structures. It explains how this knowledge is used to isolate and identify proteins, and adapt them for use, both outside the body and within it.
