Session VI - Laparoscopic Surgery (Hands-On Cadaver Lab)

This course offers a unique opportunity to the practicing gynecologist who is a skilled laparoscopist. Anatomical and reconstructive pelvic surgery principles will be discussed and demonstrated. The lectures and observations, which clarify anatomy and principles of dissection, will be put to practical use in a unique learning environment where participants will perform surgical procedures such as extensive pelvic dissection, urethropexy, paravaginal repair, and colposuspension using laparoscopic techniques on unembalmed female cadavers.
