Integrating Health-related Quality of Life (HRQL) assessment into clinical trials is an increasingly significant focus for the pharmaceutical industry. HRQL assessment is an effective evaluation of patients well-being and physical functioning; one which interests policy makers and health care payers while maintaining the focus on the patient.
