Continuing Medical Education (CME) - 14th Annual Series of Primary Care: Live presentations, accredited by ACCME (20 Hours Category 1 AMA, AAFP Prescribed, ACOG Cognates, and Category 1 ACEP), with a detailed syllabus. Also, home study courses and audio tapes available. Popular morning sessions allow participants time for study, family activities, and recreation. World famous beaches, tennis, golf, water sports, fishing; Ringling Museum, Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, the Asolo Theater, Opera House, Selby Gardens, and Mote Marine Laboratory/Aquarium; less than two hours drive to Disney World, Sea World and other Florida's attractions.

Day 1: Common Skin Problems Encountered in a General Medical Office: Essentials of Dermatology Diagnosis, Tinea Versicolor, Seborrheic Dermatitis, Pityriasis Rosea, Superficial Fungal Disease (Miller). Herpes Simplex and Zoster (Miller). Psoriasis. (Miller).

Day 2: Tumors. Problems in the Sun: Common Tumors: Treatment and/or Referral of Common Skin Tumors (Maroon). Types of Solar Radiation, Photoaging, Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer (Maroon). Photo Sensitive Eruptions, Sunscreens (Maroon).

Day 3: Melanomas, Nevi, Dysplastic Nevi. Dermatitis. Ulcers: Melanoma, Nevi, Dysplastic Nevi, "Birthmarks" (Miller). Contact Dermatitis (Miller). Diagnosis and Office Treatment of Ulcers, Basic Principles of Wound Care (Miller).

Day 4: Acne. Pediatrics. Case Studies: Pathophysiology, Recognition and Treatment of Acne Vulgaris, Rosacea, Acneiform Eruptions (Maroon). Dermatologic Manifestations of Systemic Disease (Maroon). Case Studies in Dermatology (Maroon).

Day 5: Selected Challenges in Dermatology: Drug Eruptions: Etiology, Differential Diagnosis and Treatment (Maroon). Infections in Dermatology (Maroon). Ulcers: Pathophysiology and Treatment of Diabetic Ischemic and Neuropathic Foot Ulcers (Miller). "Cases That Have Taught Me a Lesson" (Miller).
