Continuing Medical Education (CME) - 14th Annual Series of Primary Care: Live presentations, accredited by ACCME (20 Hours Category 1 AMA, AAFP Prescribed, ACOG Cognates, and Category 1 ACEP), with a detailed syllabus. Also, home study courses and audio tapes available. Popular morning sessions allow participants time for study, family activities, and recreation. Day 2: Acute and Chronic Viral Hepatitis (Scheig). Acute and Chronic Viral Hepatitis (cont'd) and Case Presentations (Scheig). H. pylori and Peptic Ulcer Disease - Pathogenesis, Diagnosis and Treatment (Novak). Infectious Diarrhea (Novak).

Day 3: NSAIDs and GI Tract Injury (Novak). Upper Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage - Management Strategies (Novak). Chronic Hepatitis and Chronic Active Liver Disease (Scheig). Alcoholic Liver Disease and NASH (Scheig).

Day 4: Inflammatory Bowel Disease - Treatment Strategies, New and Old (Novak). Acute Pancreatitis (Novak). Complications of Cirrhosis: Fluid Retention, Portosystemic Encephalopathy, Esophageal Varices, Hypersplenism, and Hepatorenal Syndrome (Scheig). Sclerosing Cholangitis, Primary Biliary Cirrhosis, and Biliary Tract Disease (Scheig).

Day 5: Inherited Liver Disease: Hemochromatosis, Wilson's Disease, a-1-Antitrypsin Deficiency (Scheig). Utilizing Subspecialty Consults Including Decisions to Refer for Liver Transplantation (Scheig). AIDS - GI Manifestations (Novak). Colon Cancer - Screening (Novak).
