Welcome to the new journal, Journal of Carcinogenesis. This open access, online journal publishes papers on all aspects of carcinogenesis. Journal of Carcinogenesis is a multi-disciplinary journal designed to bring together many aspects of research to develop the understanding of carcinogenesis. We accept papers in many areas of carcinogenesis including: physical and chemical carcinogenesis and mutagenesis; processes influencing or modulating carcinogenesis, such as DNA repair; genetics, nutrition, and metabolism of carcinogens; the mechanism of action of carcinogens and modulating agents; epidemiological studies; and, the formation, detection, identification, and quantification of environmental carcinogens. The journal will include papers that may belong to the area of cancer research but that show relevance to carcinogenesis - such as studies on DNA, small molecule adducts/complexes, mechanisms of action of anti-cancer drugs, and chemo-prevention agents.
Journal of Carcinogenesis is published by BioMed Central, an independent publishing house committed to providing immediate free access to peer-reviewed biomedical research. The articles are archived in pubmed.
