Some innovative products in the field of proteins and peptides research are being developed, with the Multicompartment Immobilized Enzyme Reactor (M.I.E.R.) as the first realization.
M.I.E.R. is an innovative bioreactor based on isoelectrofocusing, that unifies catalytic conversion, product separation or concentration and catalyst recovery in a single operation.
