Development, manufacturing and marketing of in vitro
diagnostic systems for infectious diseases.
Company Background:
For nearly 20 years Serion Immundiagnostica GmbH has stood
for reliability and high standard in the field of in vitro
diagnostic systems.
Founded 1978, the company started manufacturing and
distributing reagents for the complement fixation test (cft).
Ten years later ELISA systems for antibody detection were
developped and since then, ELISA systems for 30 different
pathogens have been evaluated and our product line is
increasing continuously. Furthermore, different antigen
ELISA have been added to the product range. In 1999 a
Western Blot (immunoblot) product line will complement
our product range. On special request (raw) antigen can
be provided as bulkware.
Cultivation and preparation of antigens for our test systems
take place in our own laboratories under the control of an
experienced staff. The complete process of developing,
production and distribution of our products complies with
the standards of ISO 9001, EN 46001 and EN 45001. The
company is privately owned and has about 60 employees.
