Description:

The Genetics Division of NDRI serves as a bridge between researchers and families to promote research into the genetics of type 1 diabetes, diabetic complications and related autoimmune diseases. Families join the registry by providing medical history data, and may also deposit blood samples in the genetics repository.  NDRI provides confidentially coded participant data and biomaterials to approved researchers for their ongoing studies. NDRI is a non-profit organization.
