Description:

The process of drug synthesis for the agonist to Vit D3 involves the ff.:

                                                                                                                               1. photochemical

Lanosterol -----> 7 steps -----> Lanosteral -----> 18 steps -----> 7-dehydrocholesteral ------------------->

               The Flores Synthesis                                                      (Pro-vitamin D3     2. thermal

                                                                                                    Agonist)

                                  liver enzyme                                  skin or kidney

                                  derived                                         derived

Cholecalciferal (Vit D3) -------------> Calcifedial or Calcidial ---------------->  Calcitrial

                                 step(s)                                          step(s)                (active Vit D3 - Agonist)

(The pros and cons of using Vit D3 vs Vit D2 will later be outlined in terms of 1) absorption and 2) effectiveness.)

NB:

1. Pro - Vit D3 (which Skye Blue is committing to at this time) has to undergo spontaneous isomerization with UV irradiation and thermal treatment.

2. It is a research priority to ascertain the total yield of the Flores Synthesis (steps #1-#7) for precursor Lanosteral which is fed via electrochemical perfluence to plant cells in a platform (GMO) similar to BioHarvest(TM)'s for botanical biosynthesis of pharma, nutraceuticals, foods, flavourings and dyes.

3. Skye Blue plans a partnership with BioHarvest(TM), synthetic pioneers with botanical systems hopefully in tab or injection form, for e. g. as calcifedial or calcidial.

The Scope of Skye Blue in Pharma Care are:

1. A potentially lucrative drug to address milk fever in Vet Care with preparturient cows ready for milking after calving.

2. Treatment of Osteoporosis together with Ca2+ and Strontium to strengthen bone density in this condition.

3. Treatment of the Systemic Chronic Inflammatory (SCI) condition including major ones: atherosclerosis, diabetes type 2, certain Cancers, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, kidney disease and Alzheimers.

4. Skye Blue also has a commitment to adapt a platform like BioHarvest(TM)'s  to production using early Spring grass and legume cells for complex carbohydrates (CHOs) as nutraceutical supplements banking on theories of their effects on lower gut digestion and its microbiome, gut development and animal well-being and the gut's connectedness with immunological, endocrinological, cardiological and neurological systems.
