Description:
Nova SK Information Enterprises of Canada Following the lead (2.5 decades or so) of plant-based protein nutriscience companies in the Westcoast we have decided to promote the use of extended LFSs to exploit in the medium term via Agroinformatics and Agronomics (the two are amalgamated) the use of Designer Crops for R & D of wheat and canola, commonly grown in the Prairie provinces extending product quality and productivity with sustainability (environmental control or management) to a dual crop of a) Wheat for both flour and protein from cereal and b) Canola for both cooking oil and protein of v. high quality extraction. Finally, we are thinking of oat grain or cereals for rich sources of plant-based protein. The object of the R & D process is to supplement the LFS in B.C. for milk-like proteins from vegan + high-quality natural milk from Ayrshire making it competitive with the market standard of Devonshire Cream that the British are well-known for. It is recognized in industry that the multi-B$ market for plant-based proteins of v. high quality is that lucrative and the production of extended milk fluid for use as dairy for both drinking and mfging into products like cream cheeses, cheeses and yogurt could be in the Billion-$ range as well. There are other popular grains sources for the marketplace and we would like to extend sustainability in land output or productivity due to dual crop conversion at a v. large scale for international consumption. To our knowledge there are a number of patents to purify in order to extract the protein kernel and protein residual of the wheat cereal or grain and canola oilseed, respectively. A leader in technology that started a ways back in 1998 in Vancouver, Canada is called Burcon Nutriscience Inc. who lead the industry with invention patent rights for licensing. Short of subsidiarizing, a business relationship to illustrate here is to adopt food engineering technology and expand one's market share including International destinations where human nutrition is most required for sustenance. Farming Franchising like Agri-retailing may be revolutionary in increasing and derivitizing productivity in industrial countries like Canada in the Prairie provinces where the dairy industry comes in. Other sources already used and very marketable are: hemp, sunflower, pea, canola and soy with seed cos. Our proposed technologies in future on the table are: a) Biofermentation "Clean" Reactors for Plant-sourced Protein Manufacturing, b) Crop designing approaches like whole-plant XL-Grow, aleurone XL-Grow (grain or seed), and c) Third generation biostimulants, that is, for nutrient uptake from soils for efficiency in the use of biofertilizers in soils including from compost together with organic farming practices. Note, these usually are not direct innoculants from microbes but current commercial approaches to stimulate natural subsistence in soils; so-called "pharmacological" approaches are still just out of the laboratory, i.e. has not developed much.
