Description:

The Center for Medical Biotechnology promotes the advancement of the biotechnology industry in New York by establishing research collaborations between industry and academic research scientists. It also provides educational programs in medical biotechnology, bioengineering, and biomanufacturing. Internship programs allow university students to gain first-hand experience by working in biotechnology companies. Other programs include the Innovative Technology Grants, Biotechnology Seminar Series, and Core Facilities access. A keyword searchable Index of Research Interests in Biomedical Sciences at University at Stony Brook, links to descriptions of SUNY faculty research interests, and additional information about the Center, can be obtained from our Web site (http://life.bio.sunysb.edu/biotech).
