Genotype is dedicated to molecular biology research and development of innovative products for biotechnology. Our main areas of activity are genomics, DNA analysis and diagnostics, gene synthesis and techniques for purification of nucleic acids.
Two dedades of experience with DNA sequencing services for commercial and academic customers. In fact, we have been the first European company offering DNA analytical services. Genotype has been participating in several international projects on genome analysis. These are EU projects on genome sequencing of the model organisms brewer's yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), Arabidopsis thaliana, Bacillus subtilis, S. pombe und Leishmania major. One stop service: Genotype's DNA sequencing service includes template preparation, primer design, together with all subcloning steps including DNA library preparation. This applies for small projects such as rapid sequencing of PCR fragments up to precise analysis of large chromosomal regions.
