Immediate research scientist (lead scientist) position is available at Meditech. Meditech is a five year old, early stage, small diagnostic instrumentation company located in Fort Lauderdale, area of Miami, Florida, USA, dedicated to the developing and marketing of devices for biological and environmental applications other bio-related molecules. The candidate should have a PhD degree in electrochemistry or biochemistry and have in-depth knowledge in biosensor development, especially in protein immobilization techniques and electrochemistry or optical biosensor techniques. The candidates MUST have experience with biological compounds (molecules); analytical techniques; synthetic inorganic (sol/gel) and organic (mostly dendritic molecular recognition polymers) as well. The person must be able to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Experience in applied manufacturing and research and development is preferred. The candidate must be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills; industrial experience would be most helpful. There are many other positions in environment, foods and animals.
