I'm an undergrad student, not a professional.

I just wondered today whether autoimmune responses occur in chimeras/mosaics whose immune system (or parts thereof) have a particular genome complement, against cells of their body having another genome complement. The expression would have to be just right for this to happen, so I wondered if it ever has.
