Roche first established the centre in China in 2004, focusing on medicinal chemistry for global pharmaceutical R&D. It incorporates with many examples, giving new advance to concept resurfaces and frequently using examples in everyday life and medicinal chemistry. In particular, medicinal chemistry is in its most common practice, stressing small organic molecules, synthetic organic chemistry and aspects of natural products and computational chemistry in close combination with chemical biology, enzymology and structural biology, and so on. Together with the discovery and development of new therapeutic agents, it’s possible to realize scientific success on life sciences.
